St. Patrick's Day Parade

I've been up for 24 hours straight, including a difficult-to-sit-through 2nd ward meeting, so I think I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. More on Shawn's meeting later; I'm going to sleep.

Ooh! There's where I left my can of beer!

Nice photo of the beer can, QCI. I don't think I've ever seen one of those before. I was wondering what they looked like. Slow news day?

I guess we have a different sense of irony is all.

You missed getting the pic of the lady who dyed her poodle green. Probably after drinking one too many michelobs.

The beer can picture was the best. It's what photojournalism is all about. The beer can picture tells the story of a parade on a beautiful sunny day in Downtown Davenport. River Renassance has drawn many down to see the parade. One of those people could have been a homeless person drinking a Bud Lite. He had to make room for more, so he sat down his can on top of the sign, and used the white Urn. The poor guy was in such a hurry to get to the cornbeef and cabbage dinner at JLCS, that he forgot his beer.

Who says that the homeless don't have a pot to piss in? :)

That really is my beer, I was in the parade. I am not homeless and I do have a pot to piss in.

Maybe some bum just pissed in the can and left it there.

Just about everyone down there was drinking a beer. People walking in the parade within sight of the police were drinking. I guess the rules are relaxed a bit in honor of the day.
