I may choose to participate on other local blogs, but I will do so as myself. Fly will be permanently retired.

Now we have this...

I was involved in the 2003 recount of the Hean v Lynn aldermanic result. And I'm one of the few people that have actually been around to participate in the pre-election testing of the voting machines.
None of these results will change by more than a vote or two. I understand Gilmour's desire for a "voter verification count" but basically this is a case of "been there & done that". The Scott County machines work very well. Given the closest election is 7-votes, a change in winner just isn't going to happen.

Thanks Rich. And welcome to the blog.

Several people at the Rule #3 party believed that Mr. Moroney is the Fly, and I'm starting to come around to that point of view. It just seems strange that he suddenly appears on a site that Fly frequents within days of Fly calling it quits. One thing that's strange to me is that Lynn was against the casino hotel proposal, and Fly was semi-for it. I guess campaign managers don't always agree with their candidate. It would also be admirable for him to hate the QCRPA so much, considering they helped get Lynn his seat in the first place.

Whoa! Like I told Tom Saul, it's not me. I guess I'm not as admirable as you suggest.
I've posted on SoLo and Inside Dope before, although mostly SoLo.
Keep trying.
One other thing.
During the campaign, I was keeping a semi-low profile on the blogs. The reason was that I didn't want to do anything to take the focus off Bill Lynn. Way better they talk about him than me. But there were a few times on SoLo that there needed to be a semi-authoritative word from the Lynn campaign and I really didn't want Bill himself getting bogged down in online flaming.
Now that the campaign is over, I feel a lot more free to see and be seen online.
Sometimes coincidence is just that.
The jury's still out, to use a now-unpopular phrase.
Indeed it is. And actually it is kind of flattering sort of. The gal (that's my theory) can write, but she is a bit bipolar or something.
Moroney is the Fly, Fly is Moroney. Only a non-sensical libertarian could spend so much time talking about transparent governement and the goofy stuff he rambeled about.
To bad he didn't have the balls to step forward.
Rich, you shouldn't call your wife bi-polar. Doesn't make for pleasant nights.
For whatever it is worth, I believe Rich Moroney when he says he is not the Fly. I have spoken to Bill Lynn about this, and even Bill has been assured by Mr. Moroney that he is not the Fly. I think if Rich would refuse to lie to anybody, it would definately be Mr. Lynn, so therefore I have to conclude Moroney is not Fly.
Who the hell is Rich Moroney?
he is the husband of the Fly
