Weekend Open Thread
I'm skipping out of town today and heading to Madison.
Hey, whatever it takes to go a day without hearing the words QCRPA or Mike Loos...

I could not agree more! The QCRPA does not run elections in this town (either in front or behind the scenes), and Mike Loos was a loser who tried to get free work done.
Mama and I spent a brisk hour or so out on the Duck Creek Parkway path today with the dog. Beautiful fall leaf color but hard to fully enjoy it because the wind was so bitterly cold.
Surprisingly we weren't as alone as I expected; four bikers, five dog walkers and one couple so in love that they had no sense of the temps and wind chill.
