Where in the QC is this? #13

I've got a case of blogger's block today (all weekend really) so I'm putting up this picture that I took a while back. Its probably too easy, but oh well.

Keep the open thread type stuff relegated to the Open Thread below this, and we'll see how fast someone gets this "Where in the QC?"

Also, I must remind everyone once again to come to the LeClaire Park expansion planning process public kickoff meeting at the Redstone Room tonight at 6:30. If you don't help decide what goes down there, you can't complain about what the rest of us decide.

Is it the back entry to the Capitol Theater?

QCI - where is safe parking by the redstone building for tonight?

judging from the trash and cardboard bedding, this must be down town somewhere?

Is it the back door to city hall?

How about the rear entry to the Adler ?

Nope, its not the rear of the Capitol or the Adler, although I will say that its in downtown Davenport.

As far as parking for the Redstone, the ramp next door would be a good suggestion, or really on 2nd street. At that time of night there should be spaces. The RME is in the downtown core that I constantly harp on, because its just as safe as anywhere else in town. Its the west side, and up the hill from me that tend to be less good. The area of the Figge, Blackhawk, Bucktown, Adler, etc is not dangerous.

Considering that the Redstone Room is across the street from Davenport One I would assume parking on that block is the safest downtown.

How about the alley behind Quizno's (the picture not parking)

Nope.

Mississippi Hotel?

A WebTV user guesses via email:

"Regarding the "Where is it" -- it's not the actual back door of
City Hall because that's very nice, but is it one of the others? Or St.
Anthonys, maybe."

Its wrong, however. Nobody's gotten it yet, although several people are very close.

Is it the side entrance to the downtwon fire station?

How about the old Eagles Lodge (Danceland) on 4th street.

Alley between Ripley and Harrison, north of 3rd? Kind of behind Mac's Tavern?

The back door of the old blackhawk hotel in the alley by the river center

Bingo. I was literally about to post a picture from a wider angle as a clue, and then Anonymous 3:46 got it.
