Heh - nice. This has been the worst winter in years! I don't even think Keith M. could complain that kids are causing a ruckus at the park this time :)
I drive by the park every weekday on my way to and from work. just curious - what's the drainage system like? pretty slick? kind of an odd question, but i've always wondered how well it accommodates for small skateboard wheels (i.e., not grates that riders' wheels would get stuck in, causing them to fall).
Another thing to add to your list from a few posts back: right now the Putnam IMAX is one of 40 in the world showing the U2 3D movie. It's worth checking out if you haven't seen it.

dumb question friday.
I've always wondered that exact thing. It has to be something, or else we'd once again have a riverfront swimming pool.
Too bad they can't put up one of those inflatable roofs during the winter. Now that would be slick...
Another shot to be sent to a national magazine . . .
great!

Yes, there is internal drainage . .

Mr Brecht:
Are you asleep at the switch. You know Alderman only have $7,500 a year in beautification money to spend.
"Boom said at the next meeting of the 3rd Ward Action Team, on Feb. 21, the agenda is to prioritize the ward’s top 10 list of issues.
He said he plans to use all $20,000 in his discretionary beautification fund to help address those issues.
Regarding the beautification funds - there was a balance left over from the previous 3rd Ward alderman who did not spend all of his.
This is not true. The Third Ward Alderman should check with Redmond Jones in Administration. Keith
