I was over at the airport Sunday to pick someone up, and I kept trying to catch a glimpse of one of the few PGA folks coming to the John Deere Classic that I actually recognize. As I heard a guy who had just grabbed a piece of luggage containing a set of clubs say into his phone, "I've got your clubs," I realized that PGA pros have people to wait at baggage claims for them.
When I was leaving I saw that a section of the short-term lot was blocked off, and was filled with brand new Buicks for the arriving players and tournament officials. There were 3 or 4 rows of precisely parked vehicles. I believe these are Buick Lucernes.

If you go Wednesday at the Pro-Am (which I believe is free, maybe not), I think you can take all the pictures you want.
But come Thursday till Sunday, no cameras or pictures; unless you have a press pass...
Yeah, I ran into that last year. Thousands of people from around the world enjoying QC hospitality and world-class golf and I couldn't take pictures! I actually don't think the Pro-Am is free, so I'm leaning towards trying to make it tomorrow for the practice rounds.

You should inquire about a press pass. Maybe too late, but your site has been up a while. Maybe Tory from the QCTimes can lend a hand.
I know he reads these blogs
Thanks for the suggestion. I've thought about it before for the air show, and maybe I'll inquire for next year's JDC. With all the national press that shows up, I don't know if a local blog has a chance, but it never hurts to ask.
That person waiting for the clubs would be called the caddy.
