Sunderbruch Park Grand Opening

Here are some images I got yesterday at the opening of Davenport's newest park.

There were booths set up for different organizations, including horseback riding and mountain biking organizations. Those 2 groups are going to be some of the biggest users, and hopefully caretakers, of this park.

The grand opening/ribbon cuttings for the skatepark, the Fairmount Library, and now Sunderbruch Park have all been very well attended, and the first two have become extremely well-used and popular amenities. I'm sure that this one will be as well.

If tennis groups can do "tennis in the hood" and golf associations provide "first tee", what to horse riders provide?

Thanks for the pictures QCI. Didn't see any on the QCTimes website. I'm in New Orleans for two months (for work, almost at the half way point) and I keep up with happenings in the QCA between you and the Times.

Answer is horse shit!

I'm sure that they don't have to clean up after their horses like they make the dog owners do.

And that is a bunch of crap!

They say the horse rider is in charge of cleaning up after their horse. I guess they'll need rear view mirrors on the horses to know when they take a dump. Maybe Mayor Winbrook can walk the trails with a shovel and have the CA help him. They both know how to shovel out the shit.
