Where in the QC is this? Valentine's Edition

Ok, so the location may or may not have anything to do with Valentine's Day, but I forgot what number I was up to on my Where in the QC is this? feature. Also, if you're interested in unrelated discussion, I stuck up another Open Thread below this.

Congratulations to Anonymous 12:57, who correctly guessed that these images were taken of the "building at the entrance of Duck Creek Park where wedding receptions are held," otherwise known as the Duck Creek Pavilion. One of those neat little things that we take for granted.
Here's image #2, since no one has gotten it so far.

Here's the original image. I'm starting out hard here, and as time goes by without correct guesses I'll post pictures that show more and more of the location.

Where in the Quad Cities is this?

The house on 6th Street in the central city that is owned by the lady who ran fro the 3rd ward.

Do you mean Dr JoAnne Growler-Heinz? There was a multitude of people running in the 3rd.

Joanne lives on West 15th St

No, either way.

Is this the bank (I can't think of the name) in the Village of East Davenport on River Drive.

QuadCityImages said...

Nope, but good guess. I can see the resemblance.

It's Graller, not Growler. But I like that. She lives by Olsen on 15th Street.

Its called the Duck Creek Pavilion, and you are correct 12:57.

If I may ask, what gave it away for you, or are you just very familiar with that building?

I'll post an image of the whole building later today, but until then I'll let people wonder what it is. Until they read the comments, of course.

Your Valentine's clue clinched it for me. My first guess was the bank. I been to Duck Park when a wedding been performed in the gazeebo in the rose garden. The only time I've seen the building used was after these weddings.

I went to a high school graduation party there, but other than that only wedding receptions also.
