Casino operator-attracting brochure images
Here is some of the stuff that is apparently being handed out at the gaming convention in Las Vegas in order to attract a new operator for Davenport's gaming license.
Also, the brochure and cover letter can be downloaded here and here.
It would make for an interesting story in the Q.C.Times, a report on what this `Vegas Vacation` cost the taxpayers for Moe, Larry, and Curley.
ReplyDeleteIt's really inexcusable that there's a typo in the second sentence of the cover letter--and in bold too!
ReplyDeleteIt's Interstate 280, not 208.
You had your chance to get the right people in two weeks ago. Should have done more than just complain on a blog or worry what QCI does.

That typo is sad and embarasskin, we should have caught it. I will look into and make sure no more go out that way. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your wonderful sense of humor Alderman Brown.
ReplyDeleteI wondered it people would notice the 208 thing. I certainly did.
ReplyDeleteI wondered it. Pretty iffy Chris.
ReplyDelete"IT" happens.

ReplyDeleteHe doesn't live in a glass house. He moved into his parents basement.
