It was a great day for a holiday parade. The sun was shining so brightly that I actually wished I had dressed less warmly at one point.
Some returning favorites from last year, the Soldier and Bob the Builder.
Rhythm City may be screwing us in every other way, but they at least sponsored the coolest balloon in the parade.

Funny. Judging from the photos, you had to be near us, but I didn't see you there, QCI. I guess it was pretty packed in that area.
Yeah, it was a huge crowd. I'd say twice as many people on 2nd Street than there were for the Halloween parade, and infinitely more on River Drive.
Shoot.....I missed the balloon of our current 3rd ward alderman.....

I think you can go to Newspaperlies.com and download an article lie detector, much like a spell check. Problem is the Times stories make the software malfunction most of the time. But there is always hope.
