Ah, wrong winding hills. Lowering taxes excites the younger crowd, who are trying hard to make ends meet and have a reason to stay here. I will be 30 in November, and you can count me among Shawn's legions of supporters. Let me second the other post, Hamerlinck for Mayor in 07!!
What will be anyone's Must Do Thing in Davenport this summer? For me it'll be to attend a Swing game since I haven't seen the new stadium in action. No 2 is see Davenport from the water preferrably from a boat.
And don't forget all the car related events around. The cuise-ins to Northpark, Southpark, Maid Rite, A & W, and the Village of East Davenport. Unless you're in to something really off the wall you can find it here.
Good luck starting that up Winding Hills. I, for one, can find something interesting to do everyday. If there is something you'd like to see that we don't have, by all means, BUILD IT!
For petes sake Windinghills, will you clean up your language? Do you talk like that around your kids too? I believe QCI asked you once to clean up your act!
Winding Hills, your logic is astounding. It's a bad attitude to advise you to put your money where your mouth is and do something about the areas you are unhappy with but it's not a bad attitude for you to sit around crying in your cheerios because you have nothing to do??? WTH?
